ABOUT / JOHN SHELLEY
Technical depth.
A personal commitment.
Good software starts with understanding the people and the business behind it. That’s the perspective I bring to every conversation.
BASED IN THE MIDWEST. BUILDING BEYOND IT.03 / YOUR TECHNICAL PARTNER
Invested in your success.
I’m John Shelley, a software engineer, technical advisor, and technical co-founder of Harbor Works.
My experience spans Hudl, Square, and independent client work. I bring that perspective to your business, whether you need someone to build, help lead, or think through a difficult technical decision.
A little more about meBig-company experience.
Independent by design.
Working with me.
You work directly with the person thinking through the problem and doing the work. I connect hands-on engineering with technical leadership, so decisions stay grounded in what it takes to build and maintain the software.
I’m based in the Midwest. Through Shelley Solutions, I help businesses with full-stack development, mobile applications, and fractional technical leadership. I’m also the technical co-founder of Harbor Works.
Whether you have a well-defined project or a challenge you’re still making sense of, we can start there.
Let's talk
Your next chapter starts with a conversation.
A new idea, a tricky technical decision, or a team that needs support. Tell me where you want to go, and let’s work out the next step.
